The Green Card Environmental training program is run at 3 levels; Green Card; Green Card Plus and Green Card Corporate. Green Card participants sit the course in their own time on any computer with an internet connection. The course takes approximately 4 hours and can be taken over a series of sessions if necessary. The Green Team program is an extensive program for teams to tackle sustainability in the workplace. Steering teams are set up to manage the program, measure progress and look at longer term strategies, while smaller sub teams focus on specific areas in the workplace. The smaller teams generate ideas to improve efficiencies and environmental performance in areas of work specific to them, they choose the idea that will be most beneficial in terms of environmental performance and implement the chosen idea.
